Since the Custom Z was developed in 2003, the technology, craftsmanship and specifications of the Custom Z series have continued to improve to fulfill the needs of the highest level musicians.
Unique bell engraving method-The hand engraving is done by craftsmen after lacquering to enhance the contrast with the brass.The beautiful engraving design further enhances the luxurious feel of the YAS-82ZIIA. A special technology topcoat for Amber finish enables the product to maintain its beautiful condition for a long period of time.
YAS-82ZII Neck The wide bore taper of the V1 neck provides a free-blowing feel and the greatest possible flexibility.
YAS-82ZII Neck receiver The nickel silver custom style neck receiver provides a condensed tone and good response with a high rigidity. It has the flexibility to choose between the necks designed for the Custom Z and Custom EX Yamaha saxophones (sold separately).
Octave key with a ball joint to realize utmost smoothness The octave key has a unique new ball joint design for smoother, quicker action. The new neck receiver improves the tonal resonance.
62 shape with custom brass Traditional body shape is adopted which makes the sound brighter and playing feel lighter. The material is optimized for custom models.
