The Ukulele was invented in 1880 by three maderian Cabinet Makers: Manuel Nunes, Jose do Espirito Santo, and Augusto Dias. The instrument is part of the guitar family and is most commonly associated with music from Hawaii. A great Uke to have is the Kala KA-CEM concert Ukulele. It is part of the Exotic Mahogany Series. You get a great look and a lush, warm sound. This is a beautiful uke that is great for beginners or those looking to upgrade from cheaper versions. This is a fun instrument to learn!
