Description
Players of all styles and skill levels have come to love the warm, focused sound of Taylor?s Urban Ash tonewood, a responsibly sourced wood that gives second life to trees removed from municipal areas. Now, we?re thrilled to add our first-ever layered-wood Urban Ash model to the Taylor lineup, the 224ce-UA DLX LTD. This limited-edition Grand Auditorium model boasts back and sides of figured layered Urban Ash paired with a solid Urban Ash top, along with a Hard Rock maple neck. Players can expect a bold midrange response with a distinctively dry, woody character not unlike high-quality mahogany. With its remarkable balance and clarity, this all-Urban-Ash acoustic-electric offers wide-ranging utility in recording environments, and it also performs beautifully alongside other instruments or as a solo player?s guitar. Appointments for this deluxe model include crisp white binding, a single-ring rosette in Italian acrylic and faux pearl, Small Diamond fretboard inlays in Italian acrylic and faux pearl, gold Taylor tuning machines, a faux-tortoiseshell pickguard, and a gloss-finish body with a Tobacco Sunburst color treatment on the body and neck. Built-in ES2 electronics provide faithful plugged-in sound, and the included hardshell case offers reliable protection.
