Description
Distortion effects were created by accident. The first amplifiers built for electric guitars were low-fidelity and they would often create distortion when the volume was turned up beyond the design limit or the amp had minor damage. This perpetually became a desired effect and many musicians began creating distortion on purpose. The effect would give their music “warm” and dirty” overtones. One of the ways musicians create distortion today are with distortion pedals. They are positioned at the feet of the musician and operated by foot to effect the tone. The Boss BD-2 Blues Driver pedal is great for Blues Guitars. It gives you a creamy, yet crunchy sound. You get the warm overdrive and emotive distortion you would get with a 30-year old tube amp.
Features: -Classic “blues” guitar tones with tube amp simulation -Warm distortion and overdrive -Responds to nuance and volume changes -AC adaptor or 9V battery operation -BOSS 5-year warranty
